RMUTP, along with 16 network institutions, collaborates with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) and the Department of Mental Health to develop research related to mental health in Thailand’s population

President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), participated in a signing ceremony to formalize an understanding between the Research Institutes of Thailand (RIT), the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), and nine universities, including Kasetsart University, Maejo University, the Office of Science and Technology Development, and Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University.
During the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nopphadon Songwilai, the Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, expressed their commitment to this collaboration. The signing aimed to promote cooperation in research and development, technological processes, and various services among the 18 organizations involved. This collaboration intends to leverage resources, tools, equipment, and expertise in the fields of science and technology. It also includes exchanging research data and training students to support industries related to biofuels, biotechnology, biodegradable materials, agricultural technology, and various tourism-related industries. These efforts align with the government’s policy to maximize benefits for the nation.

Additionally, within the same event, President of RMUTP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the “Mental Health Network for Quality of Life of Thais” project in partnership with the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health, and the nine universities. This initiative aims to support and promote mental health among students, prevent mental health issues, provide assistance to those in need, and continuously monitor mental health problems.
