RMUTP signed a memorandum of understanding and announced the collaboration to host the 25th edition of the RoboCup.

On June 16, 2022, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), signed a memorandum of understanding and announced the preparation of Thailand as the host for the 25th RoboCup 2022, a global-level robotics competition. The event was scheduled to take place from July 11th to 17th, 2022, at BITEC (Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center), Bang Na, Bangkok.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding was done in collaboration with 16 organizations, including the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, along with various universities such as Mahidol University, Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Kasetsart University, Prince of Songkla University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, Asian Institute of Technology, Mahanakorn University of Technology, and the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center.

This collaboration aimed to prepare and host the prestigious RoboCup competition, which focuses on advancing robotics and artificial intelligence research. The event provided a platform for international teams to showcase their innovative robotic technologies and compete in various categories.
