Dr.Chalakorn Udomraksasakul, Director of Institute of Research and Development at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Discusses Integration of Deep Tech and Appropriate Tech with Kasetsart University
On November 18, 2024, Dr.Chalakorn Udomraksasakul, Director of Institute of Research and Development at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, met with Assoc. Prof. Dr.Khrasorn Srikul, Assistant to the President for Research and International Affairs at Kasetsart University, to discuss strategies for integrating advanced technology (Deep Tech) and appropriate technology (Appropriate Tech). The meeting aimed to align research efforts with societal and industrial needs and was held at the International Affairs Division Conference Room, 10th Floor, 50th Anniversary Information Building, Kasetsart University.
Key Objectives:
The discussion focused on enhancing research collaboration with a shared goal of strengthening research and innovation to drive sustainable national development. Key topics included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Establishing researcher networks to foster collaboration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Developing research agendas with a focus on creating positive societal impacts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Expanding collaboration to access funding sources and establishing a joint Seeding Fund between the two institutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Facilitating student exchanges for research training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Organizing an annual Bilateral Symposium to promote knowledge exchange between the universities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    This collaboration seeks to advance research excellence and innovation, contributing to sustainable development and addressing emerging challenges in society and industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
