The webinar is free of charge and open to 500 participants, funded by the Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization) for the fiscal year 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topics covered in the webinar include edible flowers for physical, visual, and emotional nourishment, as well as medicinal uses; criteria for selecting edible\/non-edible flowers; nutritional value, antioxidant effects, phenolic compounds, mineral content, aromatic compounds, and safety aspects of edible flowers; heavy metal and pesticide residue contamination; microbial contamination; sensory testing of edible flowers; development of edible flowers as medicine; and various edible flower-based dishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will feature discussions on edible flowers with experts from Morganic Farm, Wang Nam Khiao; Flower You Can Eat, Chiang Mai; the Department of Psychiatric and Mental Boromarajonani College of Nursing Suphanburi and specialists in heavy metal residues in food from the University of Phayao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Interested participants can register for the seminar at this link: https:\/\/forms.gle\/YY3JRGeeU8eUfcrRA.
